Originating in the Netherlands, with an international signature.

We design and produce refined bed, bath and spa collections for the most beautiful 4- and 5-star hotels worldwide, as well as for consumers who wish to bring the ultimate hotel feeling home. DOUXE has since become an established name in the world of high-end hotel products, in hospitality as well as in private interiors.

All products are made with respect for people, animals and sustainability in small-scale European ateliers with which we work closely and personally. Conscious luxury and attention to detail are at the heart of everything we do.

In 2020 DOUXE opened its first Hotel Lifestyle Concept Store in The Hague. An iconic setting where the five-star hotel feeling becomes tangible: from Egyptian cotton bed linen to complete hotel bed concepts, as used by, among others, Hotel Pulitzer Amsterdam and Hotel Okura.

Behind this luxurious experience stands an organisation that continues to develop. For the further growth and professionalisation of DOUXE we are looking for a Finance Officer who will build the next phase with us.

The role

Are you financially strong, do you work accurately and do you want to do more than just keep the financial records?

As a Finance Officer you are an indispensable link in our organisation. You make sure the records are right, keep an overview and actively contribute ideas for improvements. You work with Exact Online Handel and support management with clear financial insights.

With your financial knowledge you help DOUXE reach the next phase. You keep the administration tightly organised, look ahead and want to make an impact on the financial structure of a growing luxury brand.

What will you do?

In this versatile role you are responsible for the financial administration and actively contribute to the financial health of DOUXE. Your duties include:

  • Processing and reconciling purchase and sales invoices

  • Preparing payments and managing accounts receivable and accounts payable

  • Drawing up cash flow analyses and monthly financial reports.

  • Supporting management with insights and advice

  • Identifying opportunities to improve processes and structure

  • Preparing VAT returns

  • Helping to build the further growth of the organisation

Your profile

  • You are an independent finance professional who creates overview and likes to grow with a company

  • You have a completed financial education and work experience within a financial administration

  • You have demonstrable experience with Exact Online (must)

  • You work in a structured and accurate way and take responsibility

  • You contribute ideas proactively, switch easily and feel comfortable in a growing organisation

  • You are available for at least 24 hours per week
